Andrew was trained in Cambridge and Sheffield Universities. He worked for many years, mainly on commercial properties, with an established firm of architects in London.
Driven by a desire to shape his own future, he decided to set up Andrew Dobson Architects. His practice is split between commercial and residential projects. He enjoys discussing ideas with his clients and interpreting their needs and preferences in order to create the perfect environment for them to live and work.
Francesca is an Italian from Sardinia, or a Sardinian from Italy! Before joining ADA, Francesca worked on private residential projects and interiors both in the UK and Italy.
She enjoys discovering people’s differing needs and is driven by a passion to find solutions to the most demanding challenges. She is fastidious about every detail: detail is the defining glory of architecture. She is both innovative and pragmatic, her ideas weave a fine Italian sense of design into a relaxing place to live. Francesca loves home life and enjoys the gastronomic pleasures.
Maria joined ADA in 2013. She has previously worked in large scale commercial and hospitality projects including buildings in China and Greece.
In her designs, she creatively uses the space specifications and brief constraints to create bespoke solutions that will fulfil the client's needs and desires. Maria has also been a Design Tutor in Brighton University (2009-2012) and has researched the way people perceive and interact with space in big cities. She has exhibited her findings at architectural events including UCL.
Cristina is a Spaniard living in London who studied Architecture at University of Seville in Spain. Before moving to London, she worked in a Spanish practice where she got experience in high-end residential.
She arrived in London in 2014 and worked as architectural assistant in residential and commercial projects where acquired knowledge about different project scale and planning regulations. She believes in the simplicity of forms, materials and natural light as a way to empower the understanding of architectural space. She is passionate about architecture, photography and art.
Andrea is a proud Colombian with a passion for good coffee and fine food. She moved to London in 2008 and studied Interior Architecture at the University of Westminster.
Before joining ADA, she worked in her family’s small business engaged in building, refurbishing and decorating private properties. This was fertile ground for her to develop her skills at interpreting her clients’ needs into practical ideas. She is fascinated by the way a person’s mood is influenced by light, design, space and colour. Architecture and design are the cornerstones of a better world, she believes.
Daniel studied Architecture at the University of Kent, graduating in 2012. He is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Architecture at London South Bank University.
Before joining ADA, Daniel worked on a number of large scale, mixed-use projects, in both London and Cambridge. His passion for architecture is driven by the positive impact architects can have on peoples’ lives through the buildings and spaces we create. Outside of architecture Daniel has a great passion for travelling and football.
Following a long career in International stockbroking, Hannah took a career break to bring up her two daughters.
Looking for something that would keep her mentally engaged whilst giving her the flexibility to work around family life Hannah used her financial nous to retrain in the management of company accounts. Being a fan of beautiful things working with ADA satisfies not only her love of numbers but of all things creative.
